Day 0: ARRIVAL AT KIGALI INT. AIRPORT

Arrival at Kigali international airport and transfer to your accommodation in Kigali.
When you are flying with Brussels Airlines, you arrive late in the evening, so one night in Kigali will be necessary. If you have a flight with another company, and you are arriving during the day, we can proceed immediately to Uganda.

Overnight in Kigali
Day 1 : FROM KIGALI (Rwanda) TO KYANIKA-BORDER AND UGANDA

After morning breakfast at 8:30am Rwandan time we first have a city tour in Kigali, where we can visit the Genocide Memorial. After this city tour we will proceed to Uganda via Kyanika-border to Kisoro or Rushaga (Bwindi Impenetrable National Park). This is depending on which group of Gorilla you will be visiting.

Day 2: GORILLA TRACKING
After a very early morning breakfast we drive to one of the gates. There you will have a briefing before you start your walk into the impenetrable forest for a lifetime gorilla tracking experience. The tracking can take place from Rushaga or Mgahinga, depending on the gorilla permits obtained.

After tracking, relaxing and enjoying your pictures at your Guesthouse or Lodge.

Day 3 : TRANSFER TO KIGALI FOR YOUR EVENING-FLIGHT

This is also when you booked your flight with Brussels Airlines.
After morning breakfast we drive to the shores of Lake Mutanda where we shall meet a local guide with a tree dug out canoe and cross Lake Mutanda.
​
In the afternoon we continue to Kigali for the evening-flight.
