Day 0 -  ARRIVAL AT ENTEBBE ARIPORT

Meet and greet by your drive guide, transfer to you accommodation.

 

Overnight in Entebbe

 

Day 1 - TRANSFER TO KIBALE FOREST

​

Kibale National Park is one of Uganda's most forested areas and has the highest concentration of primates in all of East Africa. There are tea plantations scattered all over the craters and hills, which give the region its characteristic name - the Mountains of the Moon.

We will be staying at Crater Lake Nkuruba, where we find different primates, such as the Red-tailed monkey and Black-and-white Colobus.

Day 2 - CHIMPANZEE HABITUATION

​

Today, we enter the rainforest for a full day chimpanzee habituation experience.

'Habituation' means letting animals to be used to people.  You will follow the chimpanzees from morning until evening, in order to learn more about the activities of the chimpanzees.

Day 3 - TRANSFER TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK (Rushaga)

​

Today we drive from Fort Portal, through Queen Elizabeth National Park, to Rushaga.

Day 4 - GORILLA TRACKING

​

After Gorilla tracking from Rushaga, sector of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, we shall drive to Lake Mutanda.

Day 5 - CANOE TRECK ON LAKE MUTANDA

​

We will cross the lake with a guide in a tree dug out canoe. Then we shall pass through the villages walking with a guide and we shall visit a coffee farm (volcanic organic arrabica coffee farm) where we shall enjoy a cup of coffee as we relax.

Day 6: GOLDEN MONKEY TRACKING OR HIKING A VOLCANO

​

We wake up early in the morning and we drive to Mgahinga national park where you may choose to do Golden monkey tracking or hiking one of the three volcanoes; Muhavura, Mgahinga or Sabinyo.

Day 7: DEPARTURE

 

Today we drive to Kampala, Entebbe international airport.
